The Year of the Snake

    The Year of the Snake is one of the 12 animal years in the Chinese lunar calendar. It comes around every 12 years, and now, it's back to bring us good luck and happiness! 

In Chinese culture, the snake is seen as a symbol of wisdom and mystery. People born in the Year of the Snake are thought to be smart, calm, and good at dealing with difficult situations. They can think carefully and come up with great ideas.

During the Year of the Snake, families get together to celebrate the Spring Festival. We clean our houses to sweep away bad luck and make way for good fortune. Red decorations are everywhere because red is believed to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits. The most exciting part is the New Year's Eve dinner. We sit around the table, enjoying delicious food like dumplings and fish, which mean wealth and good luck.
